Petsafe Electronic Pet Doors-No Pet But Yours Can Enter Through This Electronic Pet Door!

Standard pet doors aren’t selective about who they let in…if a neighbor’s dog fit, he went through. But this high-tech electronic pet door system keeps the door shut tight, unless it’s your pet that wants in (or out).

The Electronic Pet Door is the ultimate in pet door convenience and safety.

The Electronic Pet Door is controlled by a self-contained computer that scans constantly for the presence of a Pet Key. The Pet Key clips onto an existing collar and unlocks the Electronic Pet Door as your pet approaches. Once he is within two feet of the Electronic Pet Door, it will automatically open. As he leaves, the Electronic Pet Door will automatically close. The keypad on the Electronic Pet Door gives you the ability to set door to three different settings:

1) AUTO - access for your PetKey pet(s) only,
2) UNLOCKED - free passage to all pets,
3) LOCKED - no passage allowed by any pet(s)

Exclusive Features of the Electronic Pet Door :

  • For pets up to 40 Pounds - flap opening 8.5 x 11 inches (this is the only size available)
  • Outside plastic housing measures 20"x13.25" tall overall (17"x11" cutout)
  • Freedom for you and your pet. Your pet can enter or exit without your assistance
  • Secure, allows only your pet access
  • Special PetKey unlocks the door when your pet approaches
  • Requires 4 D-cell batteries, not included
  • This may be installed in a wall.
  • This door may not be installed in a metal door

    Additional FAQ of the Electronic Pet Door :

    • If the thickness of your door or wall is more than 3" you will need to create a wall mount kit to fit the electronic dog door.
    • If your dog sits approximately 1 foot or under in front of the door it will stay unlocked.
