The new
professional line of Fishock electric fence energizers are engineered for
reliable, high-performance use. The most obvious feature is the unique
styling of the housing with a convenient pick-up-and-go handle. All Fi-shock
models have two output terminals - Full Power for large livestock and large
farms and a Reduced Power terminal for small areas such as paddocks and for
strip grazing. Both terminals can be operated on two different fence systems
at the same time.

High-tensile wire fencing is the most significant improvement in farm
fencing since the introduction of barbed wire in 1874. Although relatively
new to the United States, high-tensile electric wire fences have been used
to control cattle and sheep on the vast ranches of Australia and New Zealand
for 50 years. High-tensile electrified shock fencing not only contains all
types of livestock, it is an excellent deterrent, when electrified, for
unwanted predators. It is more secure, looks neater and lasts longer, with
less maintenance than either barbed wire or woven fence.
As an authorized dealer for Fi-Shock Inc., MightyPets provides a complete
line of high-tensile wire and accessories. Using either the installation
manual or construction video (call to order) will make your life a great
deal easier before, during, and after you install the electric fence line.
Upon completion of your first installation, you will see that high-tensile
fencing is truly, HORSE HIGH, HOG TIGHT AND BULL STRONG. Good fencing from
all of us at MightyPets and Fi-Shock!
-
Low Cost:
Due to the need for fewer line posts and the fact that you do not have to
tie off at every corner as with barbed or woven wire, the cost per foot is
substantially less than conventional fencing.
-
Lasts
Longer: High-tensile wire has a class 3 coating of zinc, which will
not show red rust for up to 50 years in the Northern Hemisphere. All metal
accessories used in the fence line carry a class 3 coating or are hot
dipped galvanized to insure long life.
-
Looks Good:
High-tensile fencing is aesthetically pleasing, stronger than conventional
fencing and will contain any breed of livestock.
-
All solid state
circuitry is specially coated to prevent damage from moisture and
salt-laden air.
-
The transformer
is totally encapsulated in an epoxy resin for complete moisture
protection.
-
Built-in
lightning protection helps reduce damage from power surges on the
fence line due to lightning.
-
Modular design
using plug-in components allowing for quick and easy repairs.
-
All models have
a two-year limited warranty and all are made with pride in the
USA.

INSTALLATION TIPS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ELECTRIC AND
NON-ELECTRIC HIGH-TENSILE FENCES
Your first step is to determine the type of
high-tensile fence required, the fence design and whether to use an
electric or a non-electric approach. A basic fence layout on paper
will help you in establishing the post sizes, spacing, length of each
run and type of brace assemblies. The fence designs listed in this
manual should be helpful. Keep in mind though, your fence should be
designed specifically for your particular containment needs.
WARNING - Wire, when over-stretched, may break and recoil causing
serious injury. Caution is advised when working with any wire. Eye and
hand protection should be worn when working with high-tensile wire. |
